Material properties

Regupol Solar Resist AK (Aluminum layer) is a polyurethane (PUR) bonded rubber granulate with an aluminum layer on the underside. The material is composed of recycled rubber. It was developed as an underlayment strip for solar panels on plastic roofs, for example. Because of the aluminum layer, the plasticizers of the rubber do not migrate with the plasticizers of the plastic roof. Through our environmental management system (ISO14001) we have succeeded in setting up a zero-waste production process. The cutting remnants and packaging materials are recycled again at ODV so that the processing is also sustainable.

Material applications

This material's aluminum anti-migration layer makes it ideal for use as an underlay strip when installing solar panels or other installations on plastic roofs, for example.

Material processing

In our own three production lines, we can produce Regupol strips, cubes and sheets in any size and number, package (e.g. sealed in our shrink tunnel) and label (e.g. for private label products). Special applications and shapes are also possible via die-cutting (70 tons die-cutting).
